How We Handle Your Donations
We believe trust is earned through transparency. Here is exactly how your donations are received, verified and used.
Bank Transfer Only
We receive donations by bank transfer in ZAR or USD. We do not process online card payments, which keeps your financial information private and secure.
Verification Process
Every donation is manually verified by our team before being added to campaign totals. Pending donations are never counted until confirmed.
Public Totals
Campaign pages show verified donation totals, supporter counts and progress — calculated from the database, not manually entered.
Receipts
Once your donation is verified, you receive a formal receipt with your reference, amount and campaign. We do not claim tax deductibility unless verified.
Our Donation Workflow
- 1Donor selects a campaign and currency
- 2Donor selects an amount and views bank details
- 3Donor makes a bank transfer to the Foundation's account
- 4Donor submits a donation confirmation with reference and optional proof of payment
- 5Our team verifies the bank transfer
- 6Donation is marked verified and added to the campaign total
- 7Donor receives a formal receipt
Donor Privacy
We never publicly display donor emails, phone numbers, bank information, proof of payment or transaction references. If we acknowledge supporters publicly, only those who have explicitly consented are named — all others are shown as "Anonymous Donor".
